Victor Silvestre

Victor Silvestre is a scientific illustrator that studied with Malena Barreto, Paulo Ormindo, Rogerio Lupo, and Romildo Paiva. He lived for 17 years within Itatiaia National Park, Brazil, and his artistic language is strongly inspired by the beauty and complexity of the Atlantic Rain Forest. His work has been exhibited at the House of Science, Portugal, the South American Wilderness Festival, and Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden’s Science and Art Exposition: Atlantic Rain Forest, Brazil. His focus is in the intersection of art, people, emotions, science and sustainability.
